Remove The paint Swirl Marks and Scratches

Have you looked at your paint under the sun and saw swirls, marks, haze, or water spots? That’s what’s called the paint imperfection where the light gets lost inside the scratches which reveal the gloss.

There are many common ways for a car to get scratched in the first place.

The biggest and the most common one is improper wash by using the wrong cleaning and drying methods. Automatic car washes play a big role. Tap water leads to spots etching the paint over time.

You have nothing to worry about, that is what we are here for! We can bring your car’s paint back to brand new condition again.

Paint Correction Vancouver

With our 1 step paint correction we can guarantee to remove %60 to %80 of scratches and swirls out of your paint. This is a great service if you have scratches and water spots and want to make the car 10 times better.

If you are looking for the best results possible that removes %80 to %90 of the scratches and swirls to get the car as close to perfection as possible you’d love our 2 step paint correction.

We only play SAFE. A big concern when polishing any paint is to burn through the paint which can’t happen with Sapphire Shine Detailing.

How? I’ll tell you. We always ensure to take measurements of the paint and clear coat before we start, in between and after so we know how much we can safely polish. We give a report to our customers showing the results before and after and they could keep it as a reference for any future paint corrections.

This is how we get paint correction right:

1. Spot-free water pre rinse following with a rich sudsy foam bath.

2. Clean wheels, tires, and fenders with a variety of brushes to reach all areas.

3. Microfiber hand wash the vehicle including door jambs, gas cap and removing any bugs from the front

4. Paint decontamination by removing embedded contaminants such as brake dust, rail dust, iron containing, paint overspray grit and debris.

5. Clay bar your paint to remove the hard contaminants that can’t be removed chemically (your paint will get the smoothest possible)

6. Tape off sensitive sections like the plastic trim to decrease the chance of polish buildup or staining.

7. One step polish by passing on every panel many times to remove the minor to medium imperfections and increase the shine.

8. Wipe down the entire vehicle and ensure no polish compound left.

9. Inspect the paint condition and measure the thickness of the paint to have an idea about the cleat coat situation.

10. Apply a spray protection to the paint for an extra shine and (2 weeks of protection) can add hand applied wax for an additional cost.

11. Dress tires and plastic trim to make them dark and shine. ( not too shiny + it won't collect any dirt)

12. Clean the exterior and interior glass for a crystal vision.

13. Walk around the vehicle and touch up any detailed areas

Based on the size and condition of the vehicle, time and cost really vary. Same service to 2 different cars. One might take 7 hours and the other might take 11 hours.

It may take 8 to 20 hours to finish, depending on your vehicle, its condition, and the results you want. This service's Full Interior Cleaning is a fantastic add-on. Your interior and exterior will undergo significant transformations.

Paint Correction Vancouver FAQ

Is Paint Correction Permanent?

The scratches, swirls, and scuffs we eliminate during the paint correction process are gone. However, it is absolutely still possible to damage your paint again. For example, if you take your car to an automatic car wash where they use brushes and hard chemicals on the interior.

You could definitely damage the paint again as if it was not polished. We highly recommend getting your car professionally detailed and considering wax or any kind of protection so you can enjoy a beautiful car looking for even longer.

Do you do ceramic coating?

We believe that this kind of service can only get done RIGHT in a manageable environment with proper lighting(garage).

Many factors could turn ceramic coating to a nightmare. For example, if a wind blows on a vehicle that just got a ceramic coating, if it rains or if the sun shows up directly on the car while doing the process of the ceramic coating and so many more...

Since we only get the job RIGHT and we care about our client’s car(s). We don’t do this service at this moment.

What makes your 1 step and 2 step paint corrections different?

60 to 80 percent of the imperfections in your paint will be removed by our 1 step paint correction.

About 90% of the paint imperfections can be removed by the 2 step paint correction.

The 1 step will work perfectly for the majority of vehicles. The 2 step is the best choice for those who truly want the best results possible.

What makes a wax different from a paint correction?

Any scratches or swirls in your paint cannot be fixed by waxing. It only takes a few hours to complete and only covers up very small swirls. The swirls in your paint are actually removed by paint correction. This is what gives the paint its stunning shine. It also consumes a lot of time and effort to complete. usually takes up to 1-2 days (depending on size, condition, and desired results)
