Car Plastic Trim Restoration in Vancouver, BC

Get Your Plastic Trim Rich Black Again

I know how bad faded trim looks. It makes your car appear way older than it actually is. Plastic dressing might fix your problem for a few days. But we have got the long lasting solution for you.

But don’t worry! You are not the only one. Almost every car will get sun-faded, UV-damaged plastic trim. Without protection, plastic that was originally black will fade to gray.

The best method to get your plastic trim back to life is not to dress the plastic(hide the problem) but by restoring the plastic(fixing the problem).

I will tell you how it works. We first dissolve any existing oxidation. We next apply black carbon to the area we are treating using a unique process and lock in a chemical to stop further oxidation. It restores originally black surfaces to a deep, rich black finish, without the "wet look". (No greasy residue).

It works only on pure plastic. You can tell by the way your plastic looks. If you see a texture on the plastic that means it is a pure plastic where we are able to take care of that.

Plastic trim Restoration process:

1. We deeply clean the plastic we are working on by using alcohol and a variety of different brushes and chemicals

2. Once we make sure the surface is completely clear of any oil or contaminants we start by covering any sensitive areas

3. Apply the solution using sponges and tools

4. We let the solution to do its job then we wipe down the whole area to make sure that the area is completely dry

Plastic Trim Restoration FAQ

What can you restore?

As long as the surface is pure plastic we could restore it. Mirror cover, grille, chin spoiler, mud flaps, diffuser, bumper and much more…

How long does plastic restoration last?

Generally speaking, from 8 - 12 months. If you keep protecting your plastic trim it will last way longer. The place you park your vehicle plays a big role in getting your plastic to get faded again.

Will this process have a chance of harming my paint, chrome or windows?

No, the solution that we use only works on what it's supposed to. If we get the solution on your paint, glass or chrome, we simply wipe it off to solve this problem.
